First released in 2000, Agipunk have lovingly reissued this LP that brings together five of the band’s earliest EPs, spanning 1989 to 1996, into a single release.
For the uninitiated, Misery are a long-standing crust punk band hailing from Minneapolis and this compilation provides a pretty definitive overview of their earliest years. The band fuse their anarcho-punk base in equal measure with swaggering doom metal groove and furious galloping d-beat. Themes of war, animal rights, and corporate exploitation form their lyrical focus. The accompanying four-page booklet includes both lyrics and the original artwork from each EP.
