Oslo’s Stabber, who feature members of Knuste Ruter and Negativ among their ranks, return with their second EP following on from last year’s debut.

These four new tracks remain resolutely uncluttered in their execution – classic 1980s’ USHC riven through with lashings of unabashed rock’n’roll swagger. The choppy breakdown that erupts during Sick Thoughts, the rhythmically spat chorus to Alright, and the flaring melody of Shallow Grave all land with a crunching resonance.  Meanwhile, the spitting, sneering vocals revel in a self-destructive, nihilistic fury.  A bracingly no-nonsense barrage.
