On this their third full-length, Vamacharra’s core proposition can appear at first glance to be deceptively simple – roared vocals and discordant slabs of metallic guitar underpinned by a brutally staccato rhythm section.  And this they do with relentless precision, conjuring the spirit of Disembodied.  But the disconcerting, melancholy infused atmosphere evoked by the distorted, dissonant melodies, and augmented on this release by blackened backing vocals, introduces satisfying layers of complexity.
