Objects Of Misfortune seethes with a restless, anxious energy.  A desire to find a meaning in existence that is constantly thwarted by the banality and superficiality of modern society.  This sense of dissatisfaction, of a life unfulfilled, primes a blistering onslaught across eight tracks in just eleven minutes.

The New York band’s debut twists and turns with a fierce, whiplash angularity, its agitations morphing into unexpected shapes without ever diluting either an innately infectious energy or satisfying underlying muscularity.  This fervour reaches its zenith on the blues fuelled solo of the darkly catchy Constant Desire and the bruising breakdown of the violently escalating Free, before the freewheeling climax of Distanced.
