Candy Apple have honed the stand-out qualities of their debut LP Sweet Dreams of Violence into a crushingly heavy follow-up EP.  Fuzzed out, discordant slabs of riffage, laced with dissonant melodies, lay the foundations.  Desperation-fuelled vocals and a brutally fluid rhythm section complete the sonic barrage.  There is an infectious simplicity to the band’s delivery that quite simply brooks no resistance.
