Destiny Bond’s debut full-length brims with a positivity arising from overcoming adversity that perfectly complements their brand of garage punk infused melodic hardcore.  Themes of fostering community and recognising queer / trans identity form the Denver band’s lyrical fulcrum.  Meanwhile, musically, a powerfully fluid rhythm section underpins the scrappier guitars and raw, impassioned vocals, with flourishes from mandolins and tambourines adding an off-kilter edge.  The violent eruption of Headspin and the blues fuelled closer Harmony stand out as contrasting highlights.
