Massacre System hail from Richmond, Virginia and bring a seething blend of blistering speed, punishing grooves, and roared vocals to their d-beat fuelled debut demo.

They lean into a discordant rawness yet neatly choose to sidestep an unrestrained wall of distortion in favour of a savage clarity that introduces a satisfying texture to the onslaught.  The opening track, Apathetic Destruction, is viciously breakneck.  The next two tracks, Endless Bloody Well and Failure Of Meritocracy, prefer to lock more into a pummelling groove that sees their drummer (who also plays in Armor) injecting a notably limber swing to the battery.  The crushing finale of War Crime Technology sees both elements jousting for supremacy as they segue between bludgeoning riffage and rapid-fire Heresy-style rhythms.  A tasty introduction to be sure.
