As the squalling feedback gives way to a blistering d-beat assault, the tone of what is to come on this debut six-track EP from Haarlem’s Traumatizer is abundantly clear to see.

Thrashing metallic guitars lock in with an unrelentingly aggressive rhythm section, while unhinged solos and occasional slabs of mid-paced riffage punctuate the blown-out onslaught.  Centre-stage though is taken by the rasping, almost breathless, vocals which inject a frantic urgency to the Dutch band’s delivery, perhaps, most notably on the title track and Cold Case.  Some rather impressive artwork completes the deal.
